Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler I to join our growing HealthPlex team!
Shift Details: Per Diem. Variable shifts.
GED or High School Diploma from an accredited educational institution required.
One (1) year customer service experience required.
Associate’s Degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.
One (1) year office experience, which includes receptionist and/or scheduling experience preferred.
Experience improving customer flow within a hospital or large physician practice preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Scheduler I you willperformavariety of office scheduling functions and related tasks as assigned. This position may require floating to other positions within the Healthplex on a short term basis relative to absences, etc.
Receives, greets and directs patients or visitors with tact and courtesy.
Communicates with focus on customer.
Schedules routine and new patient appointments with necessary resources, including canceling or rescheduling of existing appointments, both by phone and in person.
Enters new and existing patient referrals into the computer.
Communicates and coordinates with Healthplex providers, as well as, referring providers as appropriate to ensure provision of care within regulatory guidelines.
Maintains patient medical records and verifies accuracy.
