Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Technologist - Lab Technician to join our growing Urgent Care team located in Kennewick, Washington!
Shift Details: On Call, 0.0, Days
Graduate of AMA approved Radiology program.
Current WA State Licensure.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging.
One (1) year diagnostic imaging experience.
1 year of experience in laboratory testing and phlebotomy
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Under the general direction of the Practice Administrator/Manager and/or Provider, performs a variety of duties involved in providing patient care in a clinical urgent care setting. Provides Radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, assists physician as required. Preforms specimen collection, processing, waived and moderate testing of patient specimens for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, assists physician as required.
Demonstrate and sustain compliance with Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct.
Understand, embrace, and instill the Kadlec Clinic Guiding Principles.
Perform routine radiographic procedures following evaluation of the physical condition of the patient by the provider.
Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments.
Assist Providers in locating patient radiographs.
Answer telephone and follow through as necessary.
Perform waived and moderate lab testing as directed.
Receive examination request and confirms it with the patient chart or physician orders to include the appropriateness of the procedure. Consults with the Radiologist as needed.
Greet patient, confirm identification and explain procedure to the patient.
Monitor patient condition and report changes to appropriate personnel.
Prepare patient for procedure.
Ready equipment for specific procedure to be done.
Operate radiographic equipment.
Transfer patient to examining table, positions patient.
