Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst 340B and Purchasing Team to join our growing Pharmacy-340B team located in Richland, Washington!

Shift Details: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution required.

  • 5 years recent 340B mixed-use or contract pharmacy analyst experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

  • If no Bachelor's Degree, must obtain within 3 years from date of hire into the position

  • Data analysis experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited educational institution

  • 3 years of auditing/financial analyst/similar 340B experience

  • Pharmacy practice in an ambulatory or acute care practice and advanced information technology experience supporting pharmacy applications

  • Project management experience

  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills

  • Washington State Pharmacy Assistant, Technician, or Pharmacist License preferred.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

As a 340B Analyst you will work closely with 340B & Pharmacy Purchasing Supervisor, assists the 340B & purchasing team in monitoring, auditing, managing, maintaining, and implementing pharmacy 340B programs. Work in conjunction with information technology and pharmacy vendors in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and state and federal laws. Remain responsible for performing 340B compliance and financial auditing.

  • Demonstrates and sustains compliance to Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standards of Excellence and Code of Conduct.

  • Evaluates patient eligibility for qualified and non-qualified patients in mixed-use areas and clinics by reviewing patient medical records, insurance plans, and hospital status.

  • Ensures that facilities maintain adherence to 340B program regulations and guidelines.

  • Performs audits on a scheduled basis; may involve presenting and resolving reconciliation issues as they arise during the monitoring and reconciliation process.

  • Performs regular audits of contract pharmacies, clinics, hospital practices, or other areas as assigned.

  • Works within Kadlec approved/contracted vendors to facilitate expected outcomes of service.

  • Performs regular self-audits of 340B pharmacy operations.

  • Participates in all 340B program audits.

  • Performs any needed corrective measures as identified during the monitoring, auditing, or reconciliation processes.

  • Ensures compliance with 340B program requirements for qualified patients, drugs, and locations.

  • Monitors and audits State Medicaid claims to ensure compliance to present potential duplicate discount rebates.

  • Reviews and maintains 340B OPAIS Database.

  • Ensures compliance with all GPO Prohibition rules.

  • Maintains copies of reports for compliance and audit purposes.

  • Constructs appropriate financial metrics to assess areas of improvement.

  • Develops and maintains 340B program reports detailing volume, financial value, & other reporting metrics as needed.

  • Supports accounts payable processes.

  • Maintains provider lists, Medicaid lists, and similar functions related to compliance requirements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
