Kadlec Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Data Specialist to join our growing Quality Care Management team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Part time, 0.5. Day shifts.
Associate’s Degree from an accredited educational institution required.
Two years recent clinical experience in an acute care facility required.
Two years electronic medical records experience is required.
A registered nurse must possess a current WA State RN Licensure. Other Clinicians to be licensed or certified in their specific discipline.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.
Proficiency in a variety of software applications, including MS Word, Excel and Epic preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Clinical Data Specialist, you are responsible for abstracting, collating and reporting clinical data in support of organizational clinical program activities and government or regulatory requirements.
Develops data collection tools, data element definitions, and define outcome report expectations.
Assures the completeness, accuracy and integrity of abstracted data.
Collects abstracted data in Excel, or designated database software.
Prepares and presents reports of the data as scheduled or requested.
Participates on assigned government program teams in support of the data collection functions of the team.
