Kadlec Echo Technologist - Inland Cardiology in Richland, Washington


Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for an Echo Technologist to join our growing Kadlec Inland Cardiology team located in Richland, Washington!

Shift Details: 1.0 FTE, Full time, Day Shift


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.

  • Successful completion of an accredited academic program in Echocardiography.

  • Successful completion of registration within 2 years from date of hire into the position.

  • Current registration in Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

Preferred Requirement:

  • 1 year experience In the Echo/Vascular field

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager performs peripheral arterial/venous, abdominal arterial/venous, carotid duplex and adult echocardiogram exams. Assists and attends required CEU to maintain registry status.

  • Embrace Planetree Philosophy to provide a safe, comfortable, therapeutic patient centered environment.

  • Perform and interpret vascular examinations including: peripheral arterial/venous, abdominal arterial/venous, carotid duplex and echo cardiogram examinations. Workload includes four to ten patients daily for four to five days per week.

  • Create/input required electronic medical records (EMR) documentation of all services provided and prepares all required paperwork for billing and administrative purposes in a timely manner.

  • Perform daily lab operations including lab maintenance and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Adhere to compliance with all personnel policies, operational policies and HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

  • Maintain a safe and unobstructed work area, practices good safety habits and observes OSHA safety rules and guidelines including, but not limited to: practicing safety precautions/infection control, wearing required protective clothing and equipment, following established protocols for the disposal of sharps and contact/disposal of blood and other bodily fluids.

  • Understand and apply appropriate quality assurance and improvement processes.
