Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Environmental Services Supervisor to join our growing Environmental Services team located in Richland, Washington!

Shift Details: Full Time, 1.0. 8 hour day shifts.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • GED or High School Diploma from an accredited educational institution required.

  • Current Valid WA Driver’s License required.

  • 1 year Supervisory experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.

  • Environmental Services Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Healthcare experience preferred.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

As a Environmental Services Supervisor you will assist in providing quality environmental services in an efficient, cost-effective manner in accordance with Kadlec standards and objectives; Supervises the day to day activities of the department; and serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients and their families to facilitate the safe and effective flow of patient care in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

  • Provides input to the Manager in regards to the performance of assigned staff.

  • Implements inventory control procedures by recommending types of supplies to be ordered, quantity and timing of orders.

  • Maintains appropriate records to track inventory levels, items ordered and related costs.

  • Accurately manages scheduling, approvals, exceptions and all other input that occurs within the timecard/payroll interface, and submit the sheets (after management approval) to the company payroll department on a timely basis.

  • Provides leadership and guidance in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, outcomes achievement and performance improvement activities.

  • Coaches staff effectively in growing and being successful in their current job duties.

  • Works closely with and motivate environmental services staff to ensure work is performed properly and personnel are following schedules (standard work).

  • Assists in the orientation, development and motivation of lead staff members, ensuring the staff is properly trained at all levels and performance standards are met.
