Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Fitness Specialist to join our growing Cardio Pulmonary Rehab team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Per Diem.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a health related field from an accredited educational institution required.
One year healthcare, fitness or nutrition experience required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Current American Heart Association ACLS preferred.
Athletic Training Certification preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Fitness Specialist you will assist with the coordination and participation of exercise wellness programs; Supports ongoing departmental activities; and performs related duties as assigned.
Assists in assessing patient's entry into the program by developing individual exercise programs based on medical history and six minute walk/mile test.
Promotes teamwork, with an emphasis on timely and understandable communication of patient care information to the patient and between care providers across the continuum of care.
Provides and documents direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of interventions as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
Provides accurate and timely administration and documentation.
Collaborates with healthcare team and coordinates discharge planning.
Communicates accurately and effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians.
Promotes effective working relationships in a team atmosphere.
