Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Worker to join our growing Nutrition Services team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Part time, 0.5. 8 hour variable shifts.
- Food Handler's Permit required.
GED or High School Diploma from an accredited educational institution preferred.
Previous food handling experience preferred.
ServSafe Certification preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Food Service Worker you will perform a variety of routine tasks related to the preparation and service of food. Works in dishroom, pot and pan area and performs related work as assigned.
Sweeps, mops, collects and disposes of garbage.
Sorts, washes, sanitizes and rinses dishes, pots and pans, and flatware.
Loads and operates dishwasher and stacks or stores clean dishware in correct storage areas.
Performs a variety of cold food production tasks such as making sandwiches, salads, preparing vegetables and fruits for cooking or serving raw. Prepares coffee.
Prepares trays for patients with sensitivity to individual needs (e.g., age, disability).
Assembles condiments, cold foods and beverages for general and modified diet patient trays; assists in cafe food service as assigned.
Operates P.O.S / cash register and completes cash transactions.
