Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing Facilities team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. 8 hour variable shifts (primarily days).
GED or High School Diploma from an accredited educational institution required.
Two years’ experience as a journeyman electrician (ELO1) required.
Current Washington State (ELO1) General electrician journeyman’s license required.
Current, valid driver’s license required.
Completion of a two year electrical trade school program preferred.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician you will perform work related to the maintenance, repair and operation of the electrical systems throughout the campus, including maintenance, installation and repair of mechanically or electrically powered equipment, lighting, all voltage distribution systems including low voltage, electronic equipment, sound transmission equipment, computer and control systems, fire alarm systems and accessories, and any other related duties or maintenance as required or assigned.
Performs work related to maintenance, repair and operation of the electrical distribution system.
Performs maintenance, installation and repair on mechanically or electrically powered equipment.
Maintains and repairs all voltage distribution systems including low voltage, electronic equipment, sound transmission equipment, and control systems.
Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical devices, such as replacing receptacle outlets, new lighting switches.
Maintains the fire alarm system; responds to fire alarms and fire drills following department procedure; assists in training other Medical Center employees in fire safety.
Assists in security functions when appropriate.
Orders materials and equipment needed for assigned tasks following department policies and procedures.
