Kadlec Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Clinical Manager to join our growing Pharmacy team located in Richland, Washington!

Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. Exempt. Management. Mon.-Fri. (8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.)


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or Pharm D Pharmacy Practice Degree from an accredited educational institution required.

  • Current Washington State Pharmacist Licensure required.

  • Five (5) years institutional pharmacy practice experience required.

  • ASHP Board Certification required within two (2) years from date of hire into the position.

  • Institutional residency certificate from an ASHP accredited residency program required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

As a Clinical Manager for Pharmacy you will provide leadership on drug therapy monitoring activities, prescribing quality assurance, medication protocol development, drug information service provision, pharmacy residency and student training, and other related pharmacotherapy services. The Manager performs the other service duties assigned to Medical Center pharmacists.

  • Provides managerial oversight and supervision of the clinical pharmacy services’ employees (Pharmacists, Residents, & others as assigned).

  • Collaborates with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and clinical colleagues within KRMC and PSJH to establish clinical best practice standards within KRMC hospital and clinics.

  • Supervises the Anti-Microbial Stewardship (AMS) program and personnel within the hospital and clinics.

  • Oversees the pharmacy residency program and may also serve as the residency program director.

  • Supports recruitment and onboarding of clinical pharmacy personnel and pharmacist residents.

  • Develops pharmacy academic student training initiatives and works with pharmacy leadership to outline and support best practice standards for pharmacy student/interns/extern training.

  • Corroborates with the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Leadership Council in regards to clinical pharmacy services throughout Kadlec Regional Medical Center and Kadlec Clinic.
