Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician Clinic Compliance to join our growing Pharmacy team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. 8 hour day shifts.
GED or High School diploma from an accredited educational institution required.
Two (2) years pharmacy technician experience required.
CPhT National Certification required.
Courses in accounting, business, and auditing preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Pharmacy Technician Clinic Compliance you will provide medication compliance support for Kadlec outpatient clinics; Remain responsible to work with clinic staff to monitor and audit compliance with medication management policies and procedures including applicable regulatory bodies (e.g., Joint Commission and Department of Health); Support compliance with 340B and wholesale acquisition cost (WAC) purchasing for 340B child sites and otherwise compliant practices for non-340B clinics; Support NDC maintenance in the electronic health record (e.g., Epic), and barcode maintenance for automated drug distribution devices (e.g., Pyxis); Perform monthly audits of all 340B child sites, as well as follows a defined routine audit for non-340B clinics; Perform other administrative clerical tasks assigned at the discretion of the Pharmacy 340B Supervisor or clinic compliance pharmacist.
Develops working knowledge of applicable compliance standards (e.g., Joint Commission, 340B, Department of Health, Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission, etc.).
Performs compliance audits of all 340B clinics at least monthly.
Supports NDC maintenance within the electronic health record (e.g., Epic)
Supports barcode maintenance and user access management for automated drug distribution devices (e.g., Pyxis).
Provides operational support for standardized processes in clinics that require pharmacy support (e.g. emergency kits, code carts, Pyxis, etc.)..
Maintains & distributes medication management and medication safety communications to clinics.
Schedules meetings, prepares agendas, distributes materials, and takes minutes or notes as directed
Assist with updates to policies and procedures as necessary.
