Kadlec Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapist Inpatient to join our growing Physical Therapy team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full-Time, 1.0, 40 hour week, Day shift
Bachelor's Degree in Graduation from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
Current WA State Licensure
A limited permit will be considered in lieu of licensure with state licensure to follow within 6 months from date of hire into the position
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required
Minimum experience is obtained as part of the accredited physical therapy program as an intern
Master's Degree - OR- Ph.D.from a physical therapy program
Experience in an acute care or rehabilitation facility or outpatient setting
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Physical Therapist Inpatient you will plan and administer physical therapy treatments according to the principles and practices of physical therapy, and as indicated by a physician (when referral source involved), and performs related duties as assigned.
Demonstrate and sustain compliance with Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct.

Evaluate assigned patients and plans/implements specific treatment programs for patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy.
Prepare documentation required by the department/profession in a timely and accurate manner.
Promote teamwork, with emphasis on timely and understandable communication of patient care information to the patient and between care providers.
Treat patients, families, staff and physicians with dignity, compassion and respect.
Demonstrate skills that are required for specialty clinical practice and regulatory requirements.
Provide age appropriate care.
Adhere to policies and procedures and standards as they relate to patient care, safety and education.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers.
Participate in the clinical supervision of students through accredited physical therapy programs.
Supervise aides and volunteers and works with Physical Therapy Assistants.
Participate in new employee orientation and provides in-service education to the Medical Center and community when appropriate.
Participate in the department’s quality program competencies and program development.
Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously ensuring timely and accurate completion of each task while maintaining quality standards.
Demonstrate proficiency with the use of computers.
