Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Resource Specialist to join our growing Community Health team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Part Time, 0.5. Variable/Primarily Day shifts.
This position is primarily Monday-Friday, with some weekend and evenings work hours required for programs and/or event coverage.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution required.
Current valid WA State Driver’s License required.
2 years of non-profit experience required.
Program facilitation and information resource development experience preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties includ e, but are not limited to, the following:
As aResource Specialist you will assure the smooth operation of KNRC's Resource Library; Provides resources, information, and support to clients and community members; Supports and assists with the coordination of programs and events.
Greets clients and patrons and provides resources, information, and support to clients and community members.
Supports and assists with programs and events as needed to include support groups, educational programs and conferences.
Performs circulation procedures to include checking resource materials in and out and registering patrons.
Maintains and updates electronic resource program.
Researches new materials on neurological disorders, caregiving, and community health related topics.
Provides resources as requested and recommended by providers to support their patient’s treatment goals.
Maintains inventory of library materials, including costs.
Provides information, education and referral services to KNRC clients, library patrons, Healthplex patients, and community members.
Functions as backup for other Community Health positions as needed.
