Kadlec RN Medication Distribution - Ambulatory Surgery in Richland, Washington
Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Medication Distribution RN to join our growing Ambulatory Surgery team located at our brand new surgery center in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. Day shifts.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
One year recent acute care, Operating Room, or PACU RN experience required.
Current WA State RN licensure required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
BSN from an accredited nursing program preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Medication Distribution RN, you will perform ordering, counting, reconciling inventory, and dispensing functions following established procedures.
Performs a variety of clerical, office, and basic medication duties by organizing and prioritizing to ensure a smooth and efficient work flow.
Receives and signs for medications and solutions delivered to the Medication Room, unpacks, and shelves the items; maintains the drug acquisition data in the computer system; and maintains an accurate inventory verified by counts per existing policies.
Works closely with the Medical Director to maintain facility Drug Formulary.
Generates correspondence, memoranda, reports, requisitions, forms, and other documents as needed.
Assists with the development and maintenance of medication policies and procedures.
Performs drug repackaging activities, controlled substance inventory tracking, medication transportation and deliveries.
