The Kadlec RN Residency Program offers new graduate nurses a foundation of clinical, acute-care skills in a hospital setting to become an expert in their specialty. Learn through a combination of classroom sessions, simulations and authentic patient experiences with the support of experienced preceptors/mentors. We provide an integrated, consistent support structure for mentoring, career guidance and development—to make sure our nurses are reliably prepared, inspired and challenged in their work.

Eligibility:

Upon hire, nurse residents will have graduated from an accredited nursing program and typically have less than 12 months of nursing experience. A BSN degree or higher (or equivalent experience) within 3 years of hire is required, and Kadlec has pathways and support systems to help you get there. The following are also needed:

  • An unencumbered RN license in Washington state (or if the RN holds a multi-state license through the Nurse Licensure Compact, the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in Washington state)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree (BSN)
  • vertification in related specialty area
